Production System Modelling using PROSPER*
Who should attend:
Petroleum engineers; Production
Engineers; Well Design & Operations Engineers;
Surveillance Engineers; anyone needing to understand the impact of detailed
completion design choices, fluid flow principles, or predict pressure
and temperature gradients from the reservoir to the separator.
Supporting Material:
Hard copy of slide set, miscellaneous
notes & hand-outs, reference to Petroleum Experts
Prosper User Guide and other “help” material installed
with the program; practical worked examples.
Software:
Laptop PCs can be made available for each attendee with Petroleum Experts “PROSPER” installed at additional cost as noted above. Attendees may bring their own laptops with licensed copies of PROSPER or other production system modelling products such as WellFlo (EPS or Neotec) or PipeSim (Schlumberger). Detailed discussion of transient modelling software such as OLGA2000 (SPT) is beyond the scope of this course.
