Production System Modelling using PROSPER*

Who should attend:
Petroleum engineers; Production
Engineers; Well Design & Operations Engineers;
Surveillance Engineers; anyone needing to understand the impact of detailed
completion design choices, fluid flow principles, or predict pressure
and temperature gradients from the reservoir to the separator.

Supporting Material:
Hard copy of slide set, miscellaneous
notes & hand-outs, reference to Petroleum Experts
Prosper User Guide and other “help” material installed
with the program; practical worked examples.

Software:
Included in the course cost, rental Laptop PCs and PROSPER* Licenses will be made available on a one per two attendee basis. An individual PROSPER* License can be rented at an additional cost of £350 + VAT. An individual Laptop can be rented at an additional cost of £150 +VAT. Use of a personal or corporate laptop is permissible but the user must have full administrative rights for software installation, as LETS can make no guarantees in respect of software installation on non-rental laptops. Attendees may bring their own laptops with licensed copies of PROSPER or other production system modelling products such as WellFlo (EPS or Neotec) or PipeSim (Schlumberger). Detailed discussion of transient modelling software such as OLGA2000 (SPT) is beyond the scope of this course.
